Just received an order of your cinnamon raisin bagels as a gift from the Hustons. Amazing. I’m curious whether you might make garlic bagels or chocolate chip bagels. I’m also interested in whether you offer whipped cream cheese…

      Hi Ben,

Yes-I can make garlic bagels or chocolate chip ones. I can even customize flavors any way a person can imagine. Personally, I’m envisioning a crushed chocolate covered coffee bean bagel, even though I’ve never had one!

A crushed chocolate covered coffee bean bagel sounds incredible. I’d love to try it.

  2. I am so PROUD OF YOU!!! Things seem to be falling into place — the site is beautiful. Do you do mailed bread?

    Thank you Harry.

We could do mailed breads to the Midwestern US region, but not bagels as they are meant to be eaten freshly made. ( In NYC they actually throw any remaining bagels out at days end! sigh…but here at Piety Hill Bakery, we know that traditional Old World bagels can be sliced and frozen to be used beautifully throughout the coming weeks.)

    Thank you for asking.

Will you consider sending bagels to West Virginia, I don’t care if they are day old or frozen we do not have any bagel shops in the Martinsburg are and it is killing me not to have my chocolate chip bagel fix.

      Hi Bobbie,

I will definitely consider sending bagels to you from Illinois to West Virginia. Let me do a little mail research and I will get back with you. I know what you are saying. Until I started making my own bagels, I was for years longing for those bagels from Park Slope, Brooklyn 🙂

You are welcome Becca, and guess what?—sesame and poppy seed are still my favorite too! And I have heard that sesame seed is packed with calcium. Excellent I say!

Thanks for the opportunity to have “pampering” right at our doorstep! After eating a Piety-Hill bagel, I now know that I have never really eaten a truly fresh bagel before. It was so special to surprise my 86 year old father with this treat for his birthday breakfast recently. “Here’s to many more!”

Hey Murf. Great to hear from you old friend! Absolutely. In this tough economy most of us don’t need or can’t afford sculptures (http://sculptedportrait.com) but we sure could use a decent loaf of Bread!!!

Thanks for the chance to promote my sculpting business too, just in case….:)

Blessings Murf, to you and your growing family.

Do you send to other states, like West Virginia for example?

Thanks for your inquiry Bobbie. I have delivered Holiday breads to other states, but because our bagels and basic breads do not have preservatives or a lot of fats in them, they are best eaten on day one or two. Hard to deliver fast enough for that!

Do you have a gluten free recipe?

No, I’m sorry but we do not. I have tried several, but was not happy with the outcome.
